Event Description

The SAAHJ Media Workshop will feature news vets, policy experts, and veteran PR pros, with networking opportunities abound. Panel discussions will focus on the fluidity of our newsrooms, immigration, the challenges women face in excelling in the field, and how fewer journalists in newsrooms have made PR more challenging. The workshop will conclude with a lunch with our keynote speaker Maria Antonieta Collins, an award-winning national Univision anchor who got her career started in San Antonio and will share with us her story on how she made it and what she and her peers face in reporting.

The event starts 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 7 at the Univision Studios, 12451 Network Boulevard.

Online registration has closed for this event, but students and professionals can pay at the door for a respective price of $15 and $25.
